Holiday Motor Coach requested that the USDOT conduct our most recent compliance review. This is a measure of the carrier's compliance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR). An in-depth review of the motor carrier's records is made to check different categories of drivers, vehicles and trips. The compliance status determination is based on FMCSR violations discovered during the review. Any of the following ratings may be found in this field:
With each of our compliance reviews, Holiday Motor Coach has received the highest rating: Satisfactory.
The Transportation Safety Exchange (TSX) is the gold standard in safety excellence! TSX investigates, reports and monitors the safety of motor carriers in North America. Their comprehensive, on-site reviews are supported by ongoing performance analysis, making TSX Approval the standard of excellence for passenger and freight motor carriers. To be approved by TSX means you surpass even the government’s highest requirements in all safety aspects. It is extremely difficult to be approved by TSX and we are the only motor coach company in Idaho to be TSX certified.
Ben Franklin said that an ounce of prevention is greater than a pound of cure, because it is easier to prevent a problem than it is to cure it. Each of our deluxe motor coaches is included in a thorough, regularly scheduled maintenance inspection program. You can rest assured that your coach has been inspected from top to bottom on a regular basis, as well as inspected daily by each driver. Each coach is scrutinized in our shops by our Fleet Manager and his staff and we replace critical parts as needed, long before it is necessary. This special attention to preventative maintenance is one of the reasons we have such a low rate of on-the-road problems.
A well-rested motor coach operator makes for the safest trip. We require our motor coach operators to be off duty for at least 10 hours between each shift. Your motor coach operator will be refreshed and alert, keeping you safe while on the road. Also each operator goes through a stringent and on-going drug and alcohol screening program.
